McCarthy’s Wildlife Sanctuary

McCarthy’s Wildlife Sanctuary Helps Animals of All Species

In business since 1990, McCarthy’s Wildlife Sanctuary is a non-profit organization located in West Palm Beach, Florida, dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating native and exotic animals. McCarthy’s Wildlife Sanctuary is home to over 200 animals of different species, including several types of large cats, wild birds, and reptiles. Hundreds of sick and injured animals have been treated at the facility, which includes an on-site veterinary clinic and recovery room. Native animals that are successfully treated and rehabilitated are often able to be released back into the wild. However, some animals find their forever homes at the facility.

Committed to educating the public about wildlife conservation, the sanctuary operates guided tours throughout the week. Tour guests are provided with the opportunity to see and learn about animals such as tigers, leopards, lemurs, kinkajous, owls, macaws, and mambas. The organization has established itself as the number one attraction in West Palm Beach for 10 years in a row.
